EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), often called "tapping," is a mind-body approach that combines gentle tapping on acupressure points with mindful awareness. Research suggests it can help reduce stress, anxiety, and negative emotions while increasing calm and resilience. There are currently approximately 400 published papers in peer reviewed journals, including 70 randomized controlled trials demonstrating its efficacy. No. There is currently no cure for stuttering, and Clinical EFT is not intended to cure, stop, or directly reduce physical stuttering behaviors.

I take a neurodiverse, mind-body approach: it’s OK to stutter. My work is also trauma-informed, meaning I recognize how past experiences and the body’s stress response can influence stuttering. By integrating Clinical EFT into our sessions, I help your mind and your body heal those past wounds, supporting you to calm the nervous system, build confidence, and strengthen the connection between mind and body, and show up more completely for all of your interactions. My ultimate goal is to help you say what you want, when you want, with confidence—whether or not you stutter.
